Terminology Studies and Practice Branch
The Turkish Language Association (TDK) Terminology Studies and Practice Branch was established to conduct scientific research in the field of terminology, develop term standards, and carry out studies to make Turkish a language of science.

To ensure the standardization of terms used in public institutions, support Turkish terminology studies, and facilitate access to terminology resources.
Vision
Our Vision
To raise awareness of terminology in Turkish public institutions, promote the use of Turkish terms in scientific and technical fields, and conduct terminology studies compatible with international standards.
Our Duties
- •Determine Turkish equivalents of terms used in scientific and technical fields
- •Prepare and publish terminology glossaries
- •Ensure terminology unity in public institutions and private sector
- •Monitor international terminology studies and contribute to them
- •Organize training and awareness activities on terminology
